Looks like winter will make an early appearance in our area for late tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday). Temperatures will be nice to start the day...in the mid 60's. But it wil not last long...as temperatures are expected to plummet into the 40's...and 30's for lows. With that in mind...this is what we expect starting Wednesday night:

  • Strong winds gusting at times to 50 mph

  • Temperatures around 65 early, then 35 late
  • Showers and possibly thunderstorms...with possible damaging winds

Expect this weather to last into Thursday.

The current surface map is shown above. The white text behind the cold front says "Strong winds to 50+MPH...and ahead of the system...it says "This front expected to plow through late Wednesday".

Will post an update after the storm passes...with any damage reports.
