Pictures 1-4 show NS's gated signal looking East. It has 12"x20" incandescent lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and a Safetran Type 3 E-bell. The bell sounds like a GS Type 2, but just a bit more clear. |

It also has a Safetran Type 3 E-bell. |

Overview of GT's crossing. |
13-16 are views of GT's mast signal. The lights are in need of serious adjustment. One points away from the roadway, and the other to the ground! Not very safe if you ask me. |
South view. |
18 and 19 are north views, but 19 shows a wayside signal that was green, and a train came shortly after this photo was taken from the south. |
Rear view of GT's gated signal. |
21 is the front view of GT's gated signal. 22 is GT's relay case. 23 shows a 2-way gate guard, with springs on each side to fling the arm back to it's original postion after a car hits it, whether it be from the back or front, unlike a one way gate guard, which only protects from frontal impacts. |
